I haven’t seen one of these in G Scale, there is a 00 model.
The original never entered service as fuel costs were astronomical.
The turbine on this 5” model runs at 160,000 rpm!

Actually, there is another GScale mode using a steam turbine.

There have been other Turbine locomotives with build information in the G1 journal, but I love the row of that Sprinteresc beast.

So much better to see the Pennsy one with RC. The LMS one runs superb but the finger control.... I know that there are those in G1 that like to get singed fingers but you cannot get the fine slow speed control with handrokic that you can with RC. This was amply demonstrated by the Pennsy loco gently accelerating and slowly trundling off the TT.
