Saturday 2nd May and Sunday 3rd of May was the weekend of the biennial GRITH in Newcastle, NSW, Australia ( http://grithsteamup.blogspot.com ). It is hosted by Garden Railways in the Hunter group, which is affiliated with Rail in the Garden ( http://ritginc.blogspot.com ) (I think I got that right ??? )
On the Monday on railway was open for running as well. Three days of wall to wall trains and steam with a very friendly bunch of lads.
