All,
Did LGB ever do any stock in the Gnomy range?

I know there are a few lorries and a car, but I am wondering if there was ever any rolling stock to go with the Gnomy stainz??

I just did a Goggles search and found that they did coaches and a tram....

73's

as for train stock

they did offer :
caboose-about identical to the FRR version-with marker lanterns

ore tipper, identical to full size LGB (red and black)
box car
low side gondola
coaches, red and cream, blue and cream-( the blue version I believe was only available in the gnomy passenger set-have not seen them individually)

kinda fun, little difference between german and Chinese BUT FOR the inertia mechanism, which is smoother on the german version (what a surprise)

If you`re after some Phil, I think I`ve got some somewhere.

....I`m back. Yep, I thought so. One tram and two trailers. Stains, two coaches, two tippers, one van and half a coach masquerading as a low-sided open. Never got to play use them as the Stains has what looks like a dumb buffer each end and no means of coupling up. It`s got made in Germany on the bottom.

Have to say, your stainz appears to be missing the coupler pocket, which is identical to those on the other stock.

I like mine, but, while I had fantasies of making one run, I have yet to figure out what to do, other than to look at them on a shelf and to remind me of the larger version. I really like the trucks and omnibus, as they have nice 'detailing'.

Must have been something that clipped on as there is no indication that anything has snapped off either end.

I have seen layouts in approx 7mm using Gnomy as NG Vehicles. Very nice Railcars using the Trams and even the Coaches + Wagons can be hacked onto various butchered 00 Wagon Chassis. The Trams have also benn hacked into acceptable Stram Trams.

Link to Gnomy Steam Tram conversion.

PandS hobbies in Scarborough have a number of the road vehicles in a plastic container on their counter for sale.
Ditto GRS..

Re 'bashes'.. There is quite a nice little garartt out there as well..
It gives an idea of the motor-block they used, but no details of the conversion.

I did have some of the skips/tippers.
Converted them to GN15
