gas powered soldering iron

Hi,

Aldi have for sale from tomorrow a gas powered soldering iron with accessories, at £14.99.

My only query is that I do not think there will be spares available, but 'if not' it is still good value.

Being self powered, you will need a butane gas cylinder to fill it.

I have a 'Nimrod' one for some time now, and it is very useful.

I went through a few electric powered soldering irons until I discover a Butane powered on e some years ago. They are so much simpler to use. The one I have is re-fillable using a can of Butane. It also has an adjustable flame so soldering tiny parts can be accomplished without fear of damage to surrounding areas.
