Does anyone know what has happened to this really useful website? Access has been patchy for some time, but now I'm getting 404 errors. Has the owner taken it down?

Here by me comes up as:

Wegen Wartungsarbeiten geschlossen

Temporarily closed for Maintenance

I emailed Hans about this in June,he replied saying they had some issues and were repairing.... it improved for a month but then recently the gremlins have returned. I would hold on and see what happens, its such a good resource.

I've been having problems with various websites that pop up as I type them in the browser (both Brave and Edge). In this case, If I type gbdb.info I get a DNS error. If I type in www.gbdb.info it shortens to gbdb.info but goes to the website.

Hi Ken, if your in Brave and go to the setting (brave://settings/appearance) you will see at the bottom of the first box the following title Always show full URLs, just make sure the slider on the right of this is "on" and it will show the full title. I dont use Edge but might need changing in the setting for that too.

That worked, but it still goes to the shortened form when I type in gbdb.info. There is probably another setting or maybe I need to clear the cache or whatever. I'll have to explore further. This is a change, but I don't know if it's from the latest update to Brave/Edge or the website owners changed how they register their domain name. Browser settings I can fiddle with, but domain registrations I can't.
