I have not been on this forum for several years, but just signed on again to offer an opportunity to some ambitious garden railroad aficionado. I am no longer able to run and maintain my layout. Just a tad over 80 years old and have some back problems. I have over 200’ of LGB track and switches that I will give to the first person that will come and uninstall it. It has been exposed to the elements for several years but appears to still be in quite good shape.

I live in Rio Rico, AZ which is about 45 miles South of Tucson. I also have a pretty good selection of rolling stock that I will be selling at reduced prices.

Contact me on my cell at 520-604-0558 My name is Norman Clark.

Have a great 2018.IMG_2314.jpg

Norman, I hope someone on your side of the pond takes you up on what is a very kind offer. I wish you well for the future.

I'm sorry to hear of your problems, looks a nice layout.

Hello Norman,
Sorry to hear of your woes! Getting old is literally a pain.. It just varies where your pain happens to be!

Have you any slightly younger Garden Railroaders in your area?
Perhaps you could get one of them to assist you to run your railway, if only one last time, or how about getting a loco fitted with batteries and radio control?

This would allow you to enjoy your railway for a little longer, with no track cleaning.

Whatever, may I wish you all the best for the future?!
PhilP.
