I'm pretty sure they were from Dragon gscale. Try email ing himThanks for all the helpful comments. I collected my pack of two LGB manual levers from Hattons today. As the PIKO point needed some adaptation I decided to have a practice on a spare R1 PIKO point. I needed to adapt one of the sleepers but the LGB part fitted OK. I then removed the small spring from under the cover on the point as well as the two electric contacts in order to make the point move more freely. The LGB switch works in a fashion. As Owlpool said the tension is not really strong enough to make the point return. It works sometimes and I can see in the weather it will not always pull back, thus defeating the object of the exercise. . Can't see any additional springs for sale in Dragon scale.
any suggestions gratefully received.
Kind regards,
Dave
Hi Davecar! I found this old post as I am also looking to fit springs to my two Piko points so they return to the set road after something has run through. Did you manage to source a second spring and did you get them working? Thanks for all the helpful comments. I collected my pack of two LGB manual levers from Hattons today. you can, but you have to drill a hole for the 2nd screw and cut away the end of a sleeper to accomodate the manual LGB switch.
I've had to double spring the LGB switch to give it enough tension to work like this
