First attempt at weathering

Very impressive......

A promising start. The best advice I can give you is to always refer to prototype photos and try to model what you see, rather than what you think you see... look at the patterns and colours and use different techniques to recreate rain streaked dirt, rust, oil seepage/accumulation and dirt thrown up from track side or brakes.

Dan, I think it is a bit more than promising. You have used the rust powders really well and the effect that you have is very realistic as it shows different levels and colours of rust. Well done, a very successful start

Good point James. The rain streaked dirt is what I failed to get quite right.

Thank you for your kind words, Mike.

A job well done there Dan and the more you do the better you will get

Thanks John. Alot of women look good from ten feet away. Some of them look even better from twenty feet away. :rolf:
