I just noticed it on ebay - wow - and I paid £36 from a UK Retail outlet. Mind you, it was well worth it;-

B & M bargins have one available for £10 and a windmill

Hey, some sellers figure if they throw it against the wall and it doesn't come back, they've won.

If you want a serious light house speak to my Dad. He makes them to order from plans of the origami. Not cheap but absolutely exquisitely detailed and they flash in the correct sequence... Ones he makes on speck for "souvenirs" he sells at the craft shop...

I had one of those, Mick but our local cormorant visited our pond and disintegrated it (along with quite a bit of the lillies!)

Now I was looking for a lighthouse, and that one sure looks the part. So I Googled Model Power Lighthouse and up popped a new one on Amazon marketplace located in the UK, last one in stock it says.............Err, £50. Looks like I will not be troubling the intrepid Ebay lister. Thanks for prompting me to look. Never mind the Cormorants, I'm a little concerned the local Jackdaw population might take a dislike to it. Looks like they are auditioning for a remake of "The Birds" of late.
Max.

The red is fading on mine (as red does) but I like it. Timed to come on every night, I fiited it with a simple electronic unit and LED - this gives the illusion of a rotating light.

At least I think that's where I got the unit from.

Commorant eh Mike? Only Herons around here and they are shy. Not sure how the cats would react either ;D

All the other birds are more interested in picking up any left-over grain from the hen (down to the last one now).

Nothing like a quick flash then......
