Engine Nameplates

I bought nameplates for my engines earlier in the year and finally got round to putting them onto my engines. A little care in measuring up and making a frame with masking tape are all the prep that is needed. the it`s a quick clean of the back of the nameplate and a smear of epoxy resin before laying onto the engine.

Certainly adds something, even to my wee Stainz locos :)

They look very nice?

I've heard that mastic is good for fixing nameplates, rather than epoxy, as it can be removed easily if you sell the loco on....

not mastic, but silicone - bathroom stuff.
look damn good though :D
