Emilys Coaches after being sold off

Nice filming! They look good painted up like that.

Do you really find the centre wheels to be the issue? They are flangeless and slightly raised relative to the others.

I have always found the angle that the fixed widely spaced outer wheels present to curves to be more of a bind, literally! Plus the rigidly mounted couplings!

Apart from that.......

"semi-fast"? zoooooom!

Look nice though.

The speed was due to the train climbing a bank before coming into view, so I had set the Controller (which was at the other end of the garden) high enough to give it power to reach the top....when it then hurtled past me!!!

The coaches run fine but do make complaining noises on curves, I expect the widely spaced flanged end wheelsets join in too......but they stay on the track.

Thank you James, I think they look great repainted and whilst not visible in the clip they have also been fitted with interior partitions and seating.

They look like the very neat laser cut ones that Steve from Back 2 Bay 6 use to sell. I have those in my Emily, Xmas and Annie and Clarabel.

Not sure if they were specially made for Steve (who is sadly no longer with us). It would be useful to establish if anyone knows if they are still be available elsewhere.

They certainly came laser cut in a packet James, but I acquired them second hand so no idea of where they originated.
They were easy to fit and I just varnished them to give a mellow look.
