Ed's Garten Bahn

Very timely with the latest channel 5 program on the White Pass. Was that planned? :)

The price for 3D printing the body is more that 50% higher in 20,3 than 22,5. The price for 3D printing is depending on the volume and with a model that is about 11% bigger in all 3 directions you will be looking at a price around € 3.000,- for an analog model.

Mmmm - that's why I asked the cost first. Shame because you can't get a decent diesel in Fn3

Thanks for the response >:)

This weekend we were present at the Grossbahnfest in Switzerland and due to the clear demand for this model in 1:20,3 it is decided that we will produce this model in 1:20,3. The price increase will only be based on the higher purchaseprice of the printed part and is set at an extra € 495,-, regardless the version (digital, analog, dummy). So the analog model in 1:22,5 is € 2.200,-, the analog model in 1:20,3 is € 2.695,-

A very comprehensive write-up, and interesting modifications. - They really lift the models.

Amazingly, Google did a good job of auto-majikally translating the text.

Greetings Ed – I hadn’t heard from you since your November note about shipping the Automobilia car and I was concerned we had lost email contact or, worse yet, that the dreaded Flu bug had you out of communication. Glad to note that you are still in touch with the hobby world.

The car still has not arrived and I am curious about whether you have been able to track any information about it. If you have found that it is here in the USA, I will be happy to contact whatever shipper last had it and help track it from here. Regards, David Palmeter
