Easter Saturday and three of us (and wives) gathered to eat, drink, talk and run trains. Sydney turned on perfect weather (after being nearly washed away in March.)
So here's a few pics...

Keith had his LGB Spreewald out for a test run before he takes the hacksaw to it to convert to a 4-6-4.

Geof brought his Queensland PB15 class loco (from a Bachmann Big Hauler) and his 'Grasslander' coaches. Arriving at Ti-tree station.

and at Lilyvale, with Ti-tree way in the background

I ran my old #5 0-6-0 with my newest design sound system.

and my #20 tank - sitting on the turntable at Sandstone.

and as the sun set, we all headed home.....
my #24 at Melaleuca with the sun shining on the station roof.

Very nice Greg, good to see a Railway being runnas a real Railway and at sensible speeds too. Looks like Keiths suffering Spreewald has already had some hacking around. Be interesting to see the final morphing.

Great pix and video, Greg. Don't think I've seen the wheat train before. Like the new sound system on #5.

Thanks for that

Great video Greg I love watching them.

The sound system on #5 sounds really good. Picaxe based?

No not Picaxe this time. The loco is a Bachmann and has the 'cams' on the drive wheel to drive the chuff. I haven't been able to get a picaxe to trigger reliably from the cam. So this one is an analogue circuit.
