Looking good John!

Are you staying with the electric blue paint job on Jack & Jessie?

Would look nicer in BR green....

Thanks Gizzy! Dont you like my taste in colour? To be fair they are not as "in your face" in the flesh, the photos are a bit loud though arent they? I did consider Buckingham Green (a la Creat Central Rly) But I saw this rattle can and ......ooooo Just had to be done.

Sometimes certain blue hues look very bright on camera.

Mark Biffin's coaches were the same. His coaches looked like they were painted in corporate BR bland blue/grey in photos, but look much nicer when you see them for real....

The main drawback with the original gearbox is that, while it works fine while the worm is pulling onto the axle shaft, it can self-eject when it is working in the opposite direction.

I managed to [strike]engineer[/strike] bodge a strap around the motor and gearbox that kept them in position under load.

I must say in IP's defence, mine has run many miles in both directions on the original gearbox without the slightest problem.
