DIMAX 1200 SOFTWARE/FIRMWARE UPDATES

I have a Dimax 1200 with Navigator handset and I see there are some new icons which can be used for locos which have been added to the list.
I have tried to download the updates but am totally lost by the instructions.
I have only managed to download some small files which are saved on my computer, but I cannot get any updates.

Can anyone help, please ?

To update the Navigator you will have to have the Navigator connected to the Central Station via the cable and the Central Station connected to your PC.

Set the Central Station to update mode and run the Update software on the PC, select the image file and do the update

Thanks to nico and muns - absolutely first class !!
The article explained everything,including reasons for failure.
I must concur with the advice regarding care about time-outs.
