Decoder fitting Mallet 2085D

Hi all,
I bought on ebay.de a 2085D with a motor 2 defected for 270€.
The seller thouth that it was analoug.
When i opened it the first time i found inside an Electronic circuit with a relè, many high power resistence and diode so i thouth that somebody have already modificated it.

So, i removed all and start to find the engine problem... I find an unsoldered wire on the engine so i re connect it and the loco work without any problems !!

I decided to install an Uhlenbrock 77500 + 32300 sound with 50 mm speaker 8 ohm and power buffer .

when dismantling the loco has experienced a problem: the frame resulted curved concerns where the weight of lead !!
So i installed an alluminium "L" profilate screwed on the frame so i solved the problem [emoji6]

Then i placed the decoder on the lead :

And i try ti reclose the loco:

Lights and smoke generator works at 5 V so i dimmered the outputs and all works very well !! [emoji4]

Then i assembled the power buffer and placed it in the front Of the boiler down the smoke generator ...

To work with power buffer i setted cv29= 2 (only dcc) and i connect a manual switch otherwise is impossible to write the cv [emoji6]

On the our italian forum, tell me that at the and of 80's were sold Electronic homebrewing kit ... Before DCC standard and probably it was that i find insede the loco !! prehistory of digital [emoji23][emoji23]
