I've just cut some aristocraft brass rail with an angle grinder and just a general purpose cutting disc. Works a treat. Homebase did powerbase angle grinders fairly cheap. Aldi's also sometimes stock cutting discs. £15 to £20 should see you with a great tool for the job. 		 dust everywhere, my nose still bleeds and stoopido cut in front of the train shed - even with the doors closed everything is covered in concrete dust, definitely a big boys toy!
