Hi Folks,

Pine Tree Junction has just had a brand new red tanker delivered so join us as it gets craned and shunted around the goods yard.

Love it ;D

At one point it looks like the Playmobil workmen are in mortal danger of a swinger tanker but then the crane driver redeems themselves by expertly placing the wagon on the tracks. :o

Hi Robert, Thanks for the post. I'm afraid 'health and safety' is sadly lacking on Pine Tree Junction. Thomas and his friends are always getting into trouble but everything always ends happily in the end. I'm afraid the crane driver had some help in dropping the tanker on the tracks. It didn't really happen. We filmed the tanker being lifted off the tracks and then reversed the film. Now that's sneaky, don't you think? Great fun!

That's the first time I've seen Emily running, it really looks quite elegant.

Hi Nigel, Thanks for the post. Emily is a great looking loco and runs really well. At full power she gets up to a fantastic speed. She is still on track power at the moment as we haven't converted her to radio controlled battery power yet. Our friends on the Charnwood Forest Garden Railway have converted their loco to battery power which worked out fine.

Loved it!

I noticed Emily and thought that she needs at least three coaches for her train to look "balanced".

Failed to spot the H&S shortcomings entirely.

Nice video short and full of activity and interest. Also some great dexterity in manipulating that tanker onto the track!

Hi, Thanks for the post and glad you liked our latest little video. These are great fun to make so it's brilliant when folks enjoy watching. We do have three of Emily's coaches but usually only film two as the Thomas fans pick us up on not being true to the TV series. We will now run three next time - just for the hell of it! Pine Tree Junction has an excellent H&S record as we take H&S very seriously indeed. We have a Pine Tree Junction H&S policy which is inspected, monitored and reviewed annually. Anyway, that's what we tell the Insurance Company. Great fun!

Hi, Thanks for the post and glad you liked our latest little video. We try and keep them under three minutes as most folks leave early if they are too long. I have to admit that the shot of the tanker being dropped onto the rails was a fix. We filmed the tanker being lifted off and then reversed the film in the edit. We could have tried to do it for real but it would have taken all day I'm sure. Great fun! Hope you didn't mind the trick and you will visit us again!

It's a very effective trick - and they say the camera never lies ;D Keep up the good work!

Thanks for your reply, and I look forward to seeing the three coach Emily. It can be a first step in introducing Thomas fans to the aesthetics of trains.

Thanks for getting back. These are the little tricks we discover when we are sitting in the engine shed wondering how to get ourselves out of trouble. Great fun!

Hi again, We took your suggestion and included three coaches in our latest video. You were right - Emily certainly looks better with three coaches running behind. Thanks and here is the link to our latest video. http://youtu.be/crhxr6OWRtA

I haven't had time to watch the new video in full, but I did notice Emily had three coaches and put a little comment on youtube. Thanks for taking my suggestion up. I wondered having seen Emily with three coaches if four might look better still!

I hope to be able to sit down and watch the whole video at my leisure at the weekend.

Hi, Four coaches - that's a good idea. I will have to ask my good friend 'Steve the Shop' to put one aside when he gets some more in. Hope you enjoy the video when you get chance to watch it. Thanks again for the great suggestion.
