Finally managed to get in to anotate the pics. Here the Corpet is seen crossing my big Steel Viaduct.

image.jpeg
Having gone over the Viaduct she circumnavigates the Rockery built in the Winter 2015/16. Van in the rear is the one comming back from Lindenburg.
image.jpeg
Arrival at Silberhutte, Corpet cuts off the train to attach the Red Van from Road 1 to the Train in Road 2. German Road Numbering Convention is normally to start with Road 1 at the Station Building.
image.jpeg
Having attached the Red Van to the rear the loco will have to run back to the other end of the Train via Road 1 as the points to Riad 3 at the front are now blocked by the poorly stopped Train.
image.jpeg
Departing from Silberhutte through the grim looking Factory Area.

image.jpeg

Arrival at Alexisbad, things are busy here and the Train will need to do some complex moves to get up to Harzegerode as it is not possible to access the Branch from Road 1 where the train is now sitting. Also the Vans will need to be left behind as there is not sufficient Capacity in the Platform Road at Harzegerode to take them all.image.jpeg
So having cut off from the vans the Train shunts forwards then reverces into Road 2 to then depart to Harzegerode.
image.jpeg
Running into Harzegerode through the Factories and Loading Area.

Running round at Harzegerode.

image.jpeg

Having attached the van from the Road on the left the driver makes a few adjustments prior to the Guards Whistle.image.jpeg

Having reverced at Alexisbad and coupled the other 3 Vans onto the Train it now arrives at Magdesprung where another van is waiting to be attached.image.jpeg
The van for Magdesprung was inconveniently left in the Main Line in Road 1 so the Train went through Road 2 and is now setting back to attach the Van. At this time the Passengers not in the know will be wondering what on earth is happening.
image.jpeg
Here the Train is about to couple up to the inconvinently left Van. It should have been put into the Road by the Goods Shed, but hey ho you just cannot get the Staff these days.
image.jpeg

Finally with all 5 vans in tow the Train now departs towards Gernrode.image.jpeg

Passing the latest Rockery.image.jpeg

Running alongside the Pond with all the Water Plants in full bloom.

image.jpeg
Before passing Barney the Station Supervisor today at Gernrode.
image.jpeg Yesterday being a nice sort of day and having had a good session with Woodwork in the House I decided to give myself a treat and Andy Rush's former Corpet a run round the line. As is usual I used my normal set of 2 Coaches and a Van Selktalbahn style 10 Axles and my 5 Mail Vans that were dropped off at varying Stations round the line and picked up on the return.

I wanted to annotate this thread with details of the Shunts and other moves that happened. But in view of the problems this morning what the heck. Hope enjoy the pics. Barney was not bothered, he enjoyed the day. It was his 9th Birthday Yesterday. Just love him to bits.

EDIT finally managed to anotate this.

Hi Jon,

Great pictures and always interesting to hear the story and details....that's much and cheers.

Also, I just purchased one of these beauties and she's Green. Did you paint yours or did it come stock with black paint...I really like the look?
The Black one is the first one that came out with MTS on board, I remember Andy Rush buying one at a Garden Show near Ware Herts UK that was held in a Garden Centre. Though not this one as he had 2 Black ones, this came from a GMad man that was selling it on with a Sound Chip in (not Massoth). Only change that Andy did was to make a bespoke Number Plate in Red and give it a Ruschbahn Number 101. I was selling off second hand stuff at the Show and got rid of 3 Stainz's that I did not want anymore. I also have a old Green Corpet one which is sounded up and a Red one to do, both are French ones. There is another Red one the Garish UK one that I also have. Did start collecting Corpets but LGB just takes up too much space to seriously collect.

That steel trestle was made of real steel! Did you have it laser/water cut just for your G scale railway?
Sorry I cannot say, was made for a member of the Forum that lived near Plymouth. On scrapping his line he sold around 6 of them via the Forum. But yes it is good thick Steel so I guess it was one or the other. Certainly well made. I would have liked 2 of them but logic said that I would not be able to manage 2 of them myself by Train. That was certainly the case, one was more than enough specially on the tube at Rush Hour!
