No!
If you bind multiple receivers to the same (non-Selecta) transmitter, or the same Selecta position on a transmitter:
If two (or more) are switched on at the same time, they will ALL respond to the handset.

You can bind as many receivers as you like to a transmitter, but it is sensible to only have one model 'in steam' unless you are double-heading.

You can have Inertia AND Selecta (12 positions) if you wish:

Hm I wonder if that is also true (multiple Rx bound to same Tx) with Fosworks, more than likely but ok if you only have one switched on at a time.

G'day, after looking around a bit on the Fosworks site, I've so far picked out the FTx2.0 transmitter, and your recommendations of the FRx22 and ESC-260 Cobra speed control.
I've still got to email Fosworks to ask what other components they think I'd need, such as a switch loom, switcher unit, or anything else I might need that I don't know about.
The switcher unit on their site mentions something about diretional lights for the FRx22 receiver, so maybe that's how it's done? MCS1

With getting a MyLocoSound decoder, how do I go about getting one with the sounds I'm after? The video further up has I'm looking for with engine sound build-up, station announcement, and the horn, but is there somewhere I need to find for the sound files themselves to be gotten from? Or do you guys find/have the sounds yourselves?

Thanks once again for yours, and everyone else's advice.

Awesome, I'll give you a call tomorrow (Wednesday) morning if that's alright, as I'll be at work all day today, and it'll give me some time to have a dedicated look just for any sounds.
I'd downloaded an ESU program to look at their sound files, so that will give me at least some insight as to what sounds are there.
After playing around with it for a bit, I can preview the sounds they use in the ICE 3 file, though the file names are mostly in German, so I'll need to do some translating and sorting through to find ones I'm after.
Hopefully they can be extracted to use elsewhere, haven't looked to see if the source files are easy to get to, but I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to find.

Zac, we would not want to copy sounds produced by another company for copyright reasons. However, once we know what sort of messages you want to hear then we can find other ways....you can become a station announcer yourself if you like.
