Crikey, it makes the Cogges Railway seem an amateur affair!! Very clever- i love the way people get their fun from differnt aspects of this hobby...

What a line, one of the best that I have seen for a real thought out operational concept. Plus allows time for some fun too. Hopefully the 16mm live steam guys are made to work to the single line tokens and signals. I used to have all sorts of problems trying to make them folow rules. Then it was all teats when they had head on collisions!

Can I assume that the line is in North Wales / Liverpool area? I would love to visit it.

Does anyone know what has happened to this railway?
The link to disgracelands doesn't work and a google search finds nothing except a 'real' Consolidated Shales railway.
The Youtube aqccount is closed too.

I was hoping that Curlew might have been able to help as he started this post and apparantly had visited the line

The line still exists, and the owner (a friend of mine) is in fine fettle!
The line is in a rather exposed location and had a rule of "no trains if wind speed exceeds 20mph" or similar so the owner has rebuilt it to use 45mm gauge track in an attempt to make the stock more stable.

For stability what about a bit more weight in the vehicles? I have a rake of heavy stuff for blustery days.
