Coffee stirrer cars......

I need a load of stirrers to make some US style wild west sidewalks. I've just been through a £ shop and couldn't see any. No staff so couldn't ask!
They weren't next to the wooden bbq skewers.

I need more than a couple of handfuls, so am happy to buy a pack of 1000, and use the better ones.

Any tip where to source...had a quick looky at ebay.

Malcolm

I buy from ebay - stirrers, different length lolly sticks, and the wooden tongue depressors.

The only thing I'd say about the stirrers is that most of them do not appear to be parallel. Difficult to ascertain if you're buying off the net.

If I was making a paneled coach, then size regularity would be important. But for a sidewalk...

ebay here we go...I hadn't thought of lolly sticks...or stolly licks as a friend calls them...they make great uncouplers

Try searching for "craft sticks"

Thanks Gap.....I searched for craft sticks, and bought 1000.

I tend not to visit fast food outlets...

Now...should the planks on the sidewalk be at right angles to the 'road', which is what I was planning, or in line with the road?

Onwards....

Malcolm

All the 'Wild West' sidewalk/boardwalks I've seen are both parallel to and in-line with the street they follow.

You choose.
