I have not purchased these, but a quick web search on CL2N3 turned up at least 2 local sites that sell these items for less than a dollar per unit. This makes me wonder if we are talking about the same item. Anyway, I have attached the links, just in case these are what you mean:

thanks for that folks ...I omitted to say I was quoting freight/postage......Oz prices range from around 46 to 76 cents ...I am too mean to pay X-on 15 dollars to send 10 transistors........and 24 dollars from mouser......will try RS...... rs looks good...different view from my usual picture, one that I cant follow.......will buy fromthemwhen I renew keyboard,,,cant type my addressand a hundred other problems.........regards, Mal R.
