CFR today.

Today we started with a new fund raising device. The "Playmobile" set is hired out in five minute units "Dive a train". The little ones love it.

We also ran our more usual stuff.

We had a great time as did the youngsters.

More "Playmobile" arrived during the week. A midde carriage for the Railcar and six assorted wagons. Plus the red locomotive. On opening one of the wagon boxes(new from the shop) I found that the wagon was missing both axles, couplings and a latch. Obviously this one missed quality control

Beside the locomotive and rolling stock we also obtained a number of plant and equipment.

The wagons are carrying very valuble but highly toxic rock. Manfred has to work in a special suit for absolute protection.

Today at the CFR was very busy. We should have been running live steam, but the Playmobil has proved so popular that we ran them all day. The first few pictures show the temporary stop blocks. Others show Manfred emerging from the mobile delousing unit and the site delousing unit. Other pictures are of the general loading area.

The two sets were kept very busy. We ran non stop from 10 until 4.
