typical way of scrapping wooden trams or rolling stock,,, burn then recover the metal,,,,

I don't remember the Cardiff trams, but I do remember the trolleybuses which I saw as a child on the way to the seaside at Barry Island. They always fascinated me.

Anyone know what happened to Felix Cunuder's miniature trams that used to run on a line owned by the Crdiff Society of Model Engineers??

According to their website, the Model Engineers still have two 18" gauge electric trams that they run at their premises.
