Its about the same for my daughter katy for her ford fiesta. About £1200-£1300 for 10 months but that includes me and SWMBO. Its in Katy's name so she earns no claims bonus. Its with the insurance company with the sailor with one arm? Have been fine for the first year. It also went up when Katy passed!

And don't get me going on personal injury claims. SWMBO's is genuine and still not settled even with the other driver being prosecuted. We are still £1000's out of pocket and I'm fighting all that I can!

Had to help out my 3 sons till they had a few years experience under their belts. Fortunatley the accidents they had were others fault.

My brother has just swapped his R1 bike for a nearly new one.
It has a few extras but nothing to radically alter his last insurance issued in July.
Churchill wanted to double the policy so we asked around and were told Ebike Insurance
was worth a punt.
Went on their site and got a cheaper for like quote than Julys.
They do car insurance as well but don't know what the quotes are like.
Here is a story with a good ending.
The brother with the R1 had a nasty accident 2 years a go when some idiot garage took
a faulty car out and dumped the sump on some sharp bends.
Bike was written off after becoming to friendly with the Armco, bro sustained minor scrapes,
very lucky. Any how bro had legal Aid stuff with his policy and the Soliciter was brilliant.
He got £5000 out of court and his own comprehensive paid for a replacement bike.
Hopefully garage has learnt its lesson as they just left all the oil on the road for over 4hours
before the accident.

Insurance is a joke........... paying for idiots who trip up on the pavement and claim thousands. my insurance has only ever gone up, iv never had a accident to date and a clean licence. mind you, i hate to think of the number of locals not insured. this is the republic of dewsbury after all.

Try Asda Insurance. Surprisingly we got quoted £1500 for a two boys aged 17 and 20 both with no NCB for a Peugeot 306 1.6 Meridian. It can reduce premiums by also adding a driver with age, experience and NCB.
