Following on from the Dick-Kerr thread.
Hi Phil.
That 42 minute total build time included applying the printed label, drilling the case, testing and buttoning up.
It was for the basic 3 channel version.
Packaging and printing instructions took another couple of minutes each.
I do three 5 channel versions they each took an extra 4 minutes per channel to build and install. Each channel could be soldering the servo leads to pot legs or building and applying smd parts and two push buttons per channel, to a small pcb.
I don't do Selecta, so that makes life a lot easier.

Clearly, using PCBs saves a lot of time over wiring up individual items - and looks a lot neater. Do you etch your own PCBs or commission them?

Hello Rik.
I get the pcb's made in China.
I have been using one particular pcb maker for many years but this time they completely screwed up.
Both pcb's for the DUAL USE range were simply not drilled and had to be done again. Held up the availability for over a month.

I need to make a couple of other new pcb's soon so am giving another Chinese make a try. Same supplier that MyLocosound uses.
