Have decided to plant some very slow growing dwarf Japanese azeleas around the mountain - these provide vibrant colour in the spring (which reminds me of my time spent in Japan). Dwarf daffodils are planted around the azeleas which will be replaced by bedding plants in the spring.
There's still a lot of facing work to be done on the mountain so managed some prep work today:

I think the graphics on the Faust coach are the best I've seen. At first when TrainLine announced this coach I thought it was a fantasy livery but when the GSC-4 posted pics of the real coach when they visited the HSB I realised it was a real livery. Looks just great:
Now that TrainLine have done the advertising liveries maybe my LGB versions will need to find new homes.....
