I visited the exhibition today and enjoyed travelling behind 4 different steam locomotives as well as riding on the gallopers. So here with some photos, beginning with the museum's locos:

I popped in to the show today, unfortunately I didn't have time to ride on any of the trains, but it was a good show all the same. Both the local 16mm Group and Bedford Area Group were there showing of their live steamers, I hope Choppercook managed to get along and introduce himself. 20230709_122119.jpg
An interesting item from the mezzanine museum, no details given, but obviously a driver's record of the signalling on his routes ( more than interesting to me, as the left hand page is my local line)

That green loco - a letter or two ... or three ... missing from the name ? :giggle::giggle:

Did you catch any info on those coaches ?

The steam boat was on a TV programme (probably repeat) a couple of evenings ago, where they tried it out on the Broads :clap:

The 2 coaches in the Museum Shed were both from Royal Trains. One for Queen Victoria the other built in Wolverton in 1957 and used by the then Prince of Wales' staff

One of I think 8 Finish locos bought originally for a theme park in the West Country. Some spent sometime at the Epping Ongar Rly when the then owners planned to convert the line to 5’ gauge.
Interestingly in this months Trackside mag there’s a picture of one of the two Pacific’s imported painted in early BR livery!
