Play sand - for kiddies sandpits. Its very fine white/silver coloured sand.

Its made of wood and dowel for the fence posts , nicked one of Jades neckless for the balls on the top , copper bell wire for the well wire

When i posted it before Mell very kindly advised me not wood mate it will rot , guess what its rotted really badly .

I have plan B , Corrugated black plastic for the flat deck and black aluminum sheet for the sides going down to water. we will just have to wait and see.

This is the pic that made me want to do it

I have a "spare" Sylvanian barge - complete as far as the boat hull and cabin goes, AFAIK, but missing most of the play bits and pieces. I got it to convert to a small launch-style ferry for a wharf-side siding that will now not happen owing to less room on the proposed layout than I thought. If you'd like it for what it cost me (£9 + p&p which I think will be £4.95 approx) please PM me. I can throw in a ships wheel as well, if you like.

The playmobil cargo ship is also a good choice, a former madder (sorry, forget the name) over Hull way had one on his layout.
