I've had a go at squeezing a Railpro receiver, speaker and a pair of 7.2v batteries into a Thomas for my son.
Although it's G scale, it is only doing light duties so the Railpro is the smaller LM-3S and I've loaded some Thomas-appropriate sound effects.
The batteries are wired in series to give 14.8v and the old Bachmann polarity switch has been repurposed as the power switch.
A USB charge point for each battery is hidden under the coal load.
Anyway, here's the maiden run. Apologies for the background noise. This part of the layout is near the road!
