Bashing the Bachmann Thomas range, or not, as the case may be.

I have not seen many bashed models from the Thomas range. When they were released a rush was anticipated. Personally, I was looking forward to seeing loads of interesting derivatives.
Maybe there are not actually many bashers out there, or are the chassis just not up to the mark?
