Re:Bachmann K27
Am the lucky owner of a k 27 as wel
before the conversion of my railroad It was running on R3 curves, basically no problem, but
on the switches the front weel can derail when driving to fast. and when that happens the plastic construction of the front wheel will
break, had to learn this the hard way so my personal advise would be to use r5 curves 10ft if i am correct.
In this case you can walk to the fridge in your lgb shack to get your no 1 beverage without having to worry that your loco derails

I find the k27 a verry nice loco runs great and can haul enormous loads,
I fixed the front wheel construction with a messing piece and replaced the original wheel with a stainless wheel with a litle bit higher flanges.
and now it runs perfect.
