Yes, I know they are toys and I did have some but repainted them!
Despite my better judgement I now have the G scale Emily and am de-Thomasing it.

Hi Syd,
Could you tell me how you repainted your TTTE coaches and locos? I'm working on repainting my Annie, but the gloss coat needs to be removed first. Did you do anything besides sanding? I've tried that, but I can't get into the detailed crevices, etc.

I only gave them a very light sanding and hand painted straight onto the plastic, undercoat first followed by two top coats and a satin or matt varnish.
I have never had any problems with the paint chipping or lifting. I have done a Percy too
