Yeah, my point was that there is some quite decent stuff made in China - the art of outsourcing production is to be able to manage it. Some firms are better at managing overseas outsourcing than others - LGB made a right hash of it.I,too, have that Accucraft model, bought in the brass finish and painted by somebody who owned the 'Glendoric Estates'. The Bachmann 'Spectrum' version, although plastic, comes with complete interior, in a number of road names and running numbers, has full interior lantern lights and cost a measly $129.00...
Made in China, of course, like all of Bachmann's stuff.
