A wintry trip around the line, propelled by my Stainz using a tail van fitted with Cliff Barker's battery-powered radio control system. More snow is falling as I write, so there may be a follow up! In the meantime, enjoy.... 8|

I thought the train would struggle on an iced up Pootank Pass too!

But I guess it didn't really want to hang about that area.... :'(
 
Congrats and thanks for a great winter ride..... hoped to have mine up and running for a visit from my US grandson, but after clearing more than 6 inches of snow revealed an inch of ice encapsulating sections of the track, I had to make do with a disappointingly short shunt!
