Hello
Just got a couple of these brand new. Are they suitable for outdoor use?

Hi Bill
Are they the normal ones or the Slo-Mo jobbies?

They both are okay outside with a couple of caveats. Do make sure that the inside is well lubricated with moisture resistant stuff (vaseline is good). Also Silicone the external contact tabs and any opening (except for the the movement area by the throwbar

Personally I wouldn't bother. I started with all Aristo and replaced them with LGB because the Aristo point motors needed constant attention. I find the Aristo points are better than LGB though.
