Shame, If they had made a Class 37 or something that Train enthusiasts like they may have sold more and had a greater demand of people buying them as static models.

Tempting:

Accucraft UK did announce plans a couple of years back - initially the scale was to be 1/29, later changed to 1/32 - for plastic RTR 08, 20, 37 and HST. As far as I know, they are all on indefinite hold because Accucraft found there was almost zero interest from the market. The etched brass market seems to grow and grow in variety, but that's based on production runs of 50, not 5000, pieces, and the labour content means there's only so far the prices can fall.

My logic maybe floored but if you compare the meerkat in oo gauge second hand values any British outline model is worth more and will sell easyer than Euro or USA equivelents.
so how many people out there are put off running g scale because they dont want to run non British trains
i recon if someone released a g scale 0-6-0 Jinty or 08 shunter starter set with a couple of trucks and a brake for £350 with an oval of track it would sell like hot cakes and within a few years british outline stock will be everywhere for reasonable money
