Yes, have used a couple of TCS T1-HW decoders in small G scale locos. Seem perfectly reasonable decoders for the money I paid. I liked the idea of the T1-HW as a shrink-wrapped compact size decoder with a plug-in connector and with enough power handling for a small loco (1.3 amp continuous, 2 amp peak).
I`ve not tried their G scale decoder as yet.
One of the T1s went into a Playmobil motor block, with a little of the metal weight cut way to make space at one end of the block
The other`s powering this old Kalamazoo 4-4-0 (again the decoder fitted inside the motor block)

I once used one of their very small HO decoders in a Stainz. It was meant to be 1 amp (but probably 12 V). It lasted about 40 seconds.
Not really the fault of the company, more of an experiment at my end. It was 16 quid so what could I expect - nothing ventured, nothing gained, as they say!

I have a couple of T1's in trams with playmobil & LGB blocks and they are fine, but I blew one to kingdom come in a USAT block. It looked like they were going to do a proper large scale decoder at one point, but I don't see any reference to it now.

I have tried one of their G scale decoders (G8) and it seems fine.
It handles 4 amps and 8 amps peak (stall).

I put a TCS T1 decoder in my Bachmann Thomas. I bought it from DCC Supplies (www.dccsupplies.com), it only cost £18.
It's given me absolutely no trouble in the two and a bit years that it's been in use.

They seem to do one thing that nobody else does: prototypical throttle and brake control. When you back off the throttle the train keeps on coasting and you have to apply brakes to slow it down. I only know how this works from V scale, so I wonder if anybody has used this and what their opinions are.
