Those are cool! O0

Or is it hot? :P

I've often thought about painting one of mine so the kids stop stealing the batteries out of it for their game controllers!

Can you buy just the red shell and swap the innards yourself?

Not available yet, no idea when :( I will keep y'all updated.

Never mind fancy coloured Navvies, where's the bl**dy DRC300.....? >:( >:( >:( >:(

(Only kidding - mostly - actually the bright red Navigator DOES look quite good, will it be an improved version or is it just a new case colour?)

Jon.

That's OK, Mark, didn't expect you to - I was really just "wondering out loud"... ;)
Maybe it's for M/LGB to sell (and/or even to include in future digital sets) as a replacement for their ageing 55015/55016 remotes?

Jon.

It really needs a green and white band around the sides to really satisfy the LGB fanatics though.......................

Perhaps some 'Trimline' will suffice.... ;)

On a serious note I can see Jon's wish for the much promised appearance of the DCR300.

I would like to see them develop the software/firmware to be able to incrementally adjust the sound volume by more than the present two stages (off or on, low or high) by just using the handset buttons...

Also maybe to be able to simply 'record' loco maneuvers like, apparently, the Hornby DCC kit can. I know that this can be achieved using feedback modules and track contacts but to do it by just driving the loco and then 'replaying' the the same maneuver would be fun.
...... probably just a pipe dream of increased 21st Century user experience.
