electronics, computers and scratchbuilding

I was playing with blue screen effect for overlaying backgrounds on movies to improve the background of my Fibro Flat station. I don’t take pics of movies of that station because it is just up against my house with no background except the fibro wall.
(Def: “fibro” a flat wallboard originally made from asbestos cement, but now with some other fibre.)
Then I had a thought – if GSC can have a boxcar traveling around the world, why can’t my station travel around the world in hyperspace? (Note to self here: “check medication and get a life Greg.”)
So here are pics of Fibro Flat station as it moves around Australia and the World.
First the real station with its real background. Not very inspiring

Then I took a pic of the bush just outside my backyard

Now as fibro was made from asbestos, I thought it had better go to Wittenoom in WA where the stuff was mined

On the Nullarbor plain. (I took this pic from the Indian Pacific train)

At Ayers Rock, the tourists need a stop.

Now a gold mine ghost town
(actually Gwallia in WA – one of the most amazing places I’ve been – see here: http://www.gwalia.org.au/ )

At an outback pub

Overlooking a lake

The National Capital needs a station, so here’s Parliament House, Canberra

maybe we`ll move overseas next........
