A Rakes Progress

Before being track tested again, gravity run,

which Sam says was quite exhilirating

door testing, ok

All 'iron work' was then given a coat of primer, then an under coat of red oxide acrylic, which can be seen grinning through in places,

Then a coat of black to finish

Now why did it do that again?

I typed in text, added larger image in the post

and that is the result???????????

Add company logo & lettering

tare & carrying weight panel

& wagon No.

No. 95

& add a bit off weathering

must add to that later when I find the airbrush

And track test again in the rake!!

So having done one,

I though .plenty of odds & ends still lying about,

so cut parts for 3 more kits

but this time non opening doors

but still most of the detail

As the doors would not open, I could use thin hardboard for the floor & use some ali angle for strength for the solebars

Fix ends & buffer beams centrally,

with reiforcing block glued under floor

as we have lost the corner strength that a thicker floor would give

Pin through ends into sides and Clamp until completely set

as these wagons will operate with false loads & empty

I dont want reinforcing bits in the inside corners
