Thought it was about time for an update on what's been occuring on the EM&BHR

I've a few days off to look after Mary, she's recovering well I've had a bit of time this afternoon to get out in the garden and start some track work that we want to do.

Here's a diagram of how we want to chage the layout

This is how the junction at Blackberry Hill Tunnel looked before the change

Didn't get as much time as I thought I might over the weekend, but did manage to get a little done. Made a start on laying some track

Managed to lay the first part of the double track

The track to the left needs a set of L/H R3 points to be able to connect to the station. they will replace the L/H R3 curve, and then the track will reconnect beyond the signal box Not got a pic of this at the mo, will get one taken soon.

Managed a little more work on the track re-alignmant today. Installed the cross over points at the station, and lined up the curve.

This was just a trial fitting, the curve was created with a frackbender. Hopefully, final istall will happen over the weekend, weather permitting.

Been busy today, after completing the track re-alignment it was time to tackle the crossing. Managed to get most of it done today and get a train to run across as well.
