Hello,
I`ve decided to place a layout in almost every room of my house.
So here comes the first pic (office).

When it´s done the trains will be able to run from one station to the other(along 4 walls).
Kind regards
Soeren

Or live in a Studio flat? :D

only got a one track mind:bigsmile:

I remember an article in Railway Modeller (or was it Constructor?) quite a few years ago where someone built a model of the London Underground under the floorboards of his house. Mind you it was the April edition.

Hello,
I´m still planning to move over to U.K, but at the moment it seems to last
3 til 5 years. So in the meantime I try to work on me own as an upholsterer, joiner and railway modeller.
So I need some layouts to show people what they are able to build in there houses or flats.
I was married twice, but at the moment I life on my own with my daughter Mona(15).
So her room will stay free.
Kind regards
Soeren

..and it was an April fool. The trains under the 'perspex' were obviously prototype photos, I'm afraid. I still have it somewhere....

I enquired of the editor of Railway Modeller and received the following response

Dear Rik,
many thanks for your message. Steve's on holiday at present, and I'm looking after the inbox for the time being. The answer is there were two articles! The April fool ? one of the best we ever did, I think ? was in the April 1983 issue, but the other underground feature was by a Dutchman, C R Tiddens, whose Piccadilly Line models did in fact run under his existing layout. They were featured in RM October 1978.
Kind regards,
Tim Rayner

It seems there were two articles.

Someone posted I link a while back to a video of an American house where the trains ran through every room at high level.
