2017 NZ Garden Railway Convention

Over the weekend of 4th to 6th February the Auckland G Scale Society hosted the 2017 NZ Garden Railway Convention. The majority of the weekend is about going out and about visiting local railways, though Auckland being a rather large spread out city "local" is a rather loose description. Humour aside it was a cracking good weekend, 11 railways visited over the three days.
I took so many photos, too many to post individually, so here in a slideshow hosted on Youtube is a selection giving, I hope, justice to a fine weekend. Sorry it's a bit long at nearly 12 minutes, but I wanted to try and give proper thanks and acknowledgement to all the hosts.

A wonderful collection of some superb photographs sensitively put together with a great soundtrack. For me far superior to any moving video. Oh dear, I'm starting to run out of superlatives, oh yes... brilliant, brilliant, brilliant.
