And a few more bits and bobs on and around the shed area. Mainly another signal and a plate layers hut.

Good old bay of E. One more added to the collection. Can't wait to get out in the garden now. No sun at this time of year though.

Got the track cleaned today and had my 2 Lynn Locos out. This is the first run of 2017. Here are a couple of videos and pictures.

Well, after spending an hour and a bit with Paul at PS Models, I have decided to take the plunge with Marklins CS3 and after just putting the locos in its memory (im not rushing with it), I love it. For anyone who has always struggled with CV this and CV that this system suits me a lot better. It can be made complicated, but it can be simple too. For now anyway. Tomorrow I shall try putting my track diagram on it and in due course, point work and motors.

Nice bridge
Cheers Frank..... I think it's the easiest kit I have made. But I think I will have to alter my track a little to fit it in. Maybe later. But it's freezing. Just testing my new digital set up as I write this and I am truly impressed. Can't wait to add point motors and signals.

P1020084.JPG The bridge is in and it 'JUST' fits where it had to go. After a lot of gauge clearance test, here it is......

Have you tried the Piko Kamel through that bridge yet????

By the way, that CS3 setup is looking good? Keep us posted about points and signals control please....

The Kamel is now banned. It is the only loco that does not fit, but its my dads loco that I sometimes pinch. Not anymore though. Regarding the CS3, so far so good. I will be doing the points next month, and while the instructions seem ok, it does not explain how it recognises, as marklin call it, a multidecoder, with 4 available 'port's. Sorry for not knowing the correct terminology.

A few more locos added. One disappointment of the CS3 is its lack of pictures for all of LGB locos...... I have had to take my own and upload them. Quite poor but apart from that....... a few more added, from the Katzberg Bahn.

I do not think you will have problems with 'multidecoders'..
It will recognise an LGB unit (and its' base address), so should assign the next three addresses automagically!
If you have the Massoth equivalent, you can set each 'channel' on the decoder to have a totally different address, so it should discover this as well??

Do the motors have to be connected to the 'multi decoder' when put on the programming wire all together or one at a time?
