WONDERLAND MODELS

Is this retailer known by the forum members, I have not heard of them before.

WONDERLAND MODELS, EDINBURGH

Yes I have ordered from them before now. Good service if not the cheapest show in town. They're a bit like Jadlam, they stock it because it's big margin and good turnaround, don't expect them to know much about what they are selling.

Wow been a while since I seriously looked at any new LGB prices, eye watering when one considers what a collection one has.

Scary, isn't it?

NOTE TO ALL:
Have you considered checking the 'single item limit', if you rely on your normal household insurance?

[This probably need's a thread, all it's own?]

I have purchased several items from them, found them very helpful if assistance is required and also fast delivery .

There was a thread on this recently, questioning whether our hobby counted as "collections" or not.

Yes I have made it suitable for such items.

yes they have been a model shop in Edinburgh for as long as I can remember...50 years at least!! Hope this helps?

Not used them for rail stuff, but have done for Tamiya Truck kits and accessories. Found them to be very competitive for price with excellent delivery times.

Went in there just before Christmas for the first time in many years, very little model railway stuff left now, used to have lots of LGB, now just an over priced starter set in the window.
