Wiring for point motors

With in reason - anything will do. I use old mains light circuit cable that is well over the top but is available. Speaker cable, bell wire, automotive wire - what ever. The very fine wire in alarm/phone systems is probably too thin. Very long runs will need a slightly thicker wire to reduce voltage loss, but this is not a major worry.
