Wine Barrel layout update

I did a few more improvments to the wine Barrel layout. I added a spruce tree, a cabine from timberlines kit. (I cant believe they are no longer in business) I also added some animals to give it that woodsy feel, like a bear and a male and female moose. I did a short video as well. Lowes still has the barrels for around $35

Neat!!

That's the nicest thing I've seen for a long time.

well lets have a closer look at the rolling stock and engine please

Simple, nicely done. Just cos it is a small layout, this proves that you do not need to skimp on the modeling. Also proves that you ALWAYS can find room for a garden railway.

Very neat!

Better not show this to Mizzy Gizzy though, or she might insist I downsize....

The rolling stock is hartland flats from their mini series. I just painted them and added wood for the deck and metal wheels.

Here is a closer shot of the rolling stock.

The engine is an LGB porter from the value starter set. That I repainted and added a saddle tank with details.

I also have a mack engine from Hartland that works well with this layout.
