I felt the water tower was somewhat superfluous. Been done in UK back in the 70ks at a show in York. Train ran through a water filled dip. No problems except for the goldfish that was slipped into the pond, caused a real problem to catch and rehome safely on pull down.

It would be' do-able', but would you want to?

The range, of the RC signal, would be severely limited..
